Sustainability

We were personally honored by Bavaria’s Minister of Environment and Consumer Protection, Thorsten Glauber, on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection, along with 15 other businesses in Bavaria. The award recognizes our special commitment to biodiversity and insect protection. To be recognized as a “Blooming Business,” at least 20% of our company premises’ open spaces must be designed in a natural habitat style, providing continuous blooming from spring to autumn with diverse habitats consisting of native wildflowers, perennials, shrubs, and trees. Additionally, we refrain from using chemical pesticides extensively, and areas of the flowering sites are left unmowed during winter to preserve breeding and overwintering habitats for insects. Furthermore, we avoid using peat-containing substrates in designing and maintaining open spaces.
